Introducing Software Bundle 8.2 for ETHOS
New 2007 Chrysler, Ford, GM, Nissan, Toyota and more Scanner coverage with the latest codes and live data for new models and systems.
Scanner Coverage
Snap-on has added 820 new vehicles and access to 7,000 new systems since the last software release. With the Software Bundle 8.2 upgrade, technicians have proprietary coverage for 2007 model year vehicles, including GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Nissan, Isuzu and Subaru - all new domestic and Asian coverage in the same bundle release. New codes and data have been added for vehicles back to 1998.
Bundle 8.2 empowers technicians to service Fords like never before; 2007 model year coverage for applicable models includes many new systems such as single and dual zone electronic auto temperature controls systems, air suspension, driver's door module, driver's seat module, lighting control module, navigation module, occupant classification module, the parking aid module, power sliding door modules and the power running board module.
Bundle 8.2 adds diagnostics for the Dodge Sprinter. With the optional keys and adapter, Bundle 8.2 delivers engine, transmission, gear selector, ABS and airbag capabilities for this increasingly popular commercial vehicle.
With enhanced Asian vehicle coverage, technicians can service Mazda customers better than ever before. Bundle 8.2 contains coverage for automatic temperature control on 2004-2006 Mazda 3, electronic power steering module on 2004-2006 RX8 and more coverage for ABS systems.
New optional European software includes 2006 Mercedes, 2006 VW/Audi and 2005 BMW/MINI coverage. Coverage includes codes, data and service light resets where applicable. European coverage requires activation and optional adapters and keys. Once activated, European upgrades are included in Software Bundle upgrades.
ETHOS Enhancements
Improvements have also been made in the graphing and data display areas for ETHOS. Enhancements include the ability to create a custom data list, which can significantly increase the rate of data acquisition for the selected PIDs.
