2007 Component Tests feature over 7,000 added tests including ECM pinouts for GM vehicles, Variable Valve Timing component level testing for Chrysler 2.0L and 2.4L engines, Component tests for Dodge Caliber CVT transmissions and Sprinter 3.0L and 3.5L diesel engines, coverage for 33 vehicle makes, hundreds of additional systems and 15,000 enhancements to tests all the way back to 1983! Tests include preset meter configurations based on the specific component and vehicle selected, description of component operation, connector views with pin assignments, best test locations, known-good and common failure waveforms, and exclusive field based Tech Notes with repair information on component specific related problems when applicable.
